LEWKNOR of Sussex Genealogy

A compilation of genealogy records for the aristocratic families of LEWKNOR & DALYNGRIGGE - DALYNGRUGE with connections to other aristocratic families, in the period c.1250 to c.1539.
Note: this period predates Parish Registers, so the data is from various alternative sources.
The DALYNGR*GE name is derived from the extinct Manor of Dalyngruge on confines of the parishes of East Grinstead and West Hoathley, The most ancient monument [in the Fletching St. Andrew church]  is that of Richard [or Walter] Dalyngruge, Lord of the Manor in the time of Edward IV
My connection is tenuous at best.  The DALYNGRUGEs are thought to be connected to de LANGREGGE (of West Hoathly SSX) and LANGRIDGE.
