William PRETTY (PRIDDY) family

William Pretty, Sojourner in this Parish married Sarah TEMPLER at Lydiard Millicent on 3 July 1764 and signed "Wm. Pretty".
Therefore almost certainly not the illiterate William PRIDDY baptised at Purton in 1726 and the subject of Examination in 1764.
I suspect the sojourner was William PRETTY born Melksham in 1739, son of Thomas PRETTY & Jane SOUTHERNWOOD.
Sarah with siblings Frances & Mary are daughters of William TEMPLER & Jane. William & Jane buried in tomb at Lydiard Millicent All Saints.

William & Sarah baptised a son William PRETTY at Lydiard Millicent on the 22 July 1764
William jun. appears to be an only child, and nothing is known of his father thereafter. Did the sojourner move on?

At age 40 William jun. (now PRIDDY) married Jane LEWIS at Lydiard Millicent on 29 July 1807. Jane already had a daughter Mary bn. 1802)

William jun. died 24 April 1817 at L.M. with the children aged 8, 5, 2, & 8 months.
Widow Jane raised the children with assistance from the Parish Overseer of Poor,
She remarried to John WELDON in 1822 but he died in 1825, so Parish assistance was again required.
In 1841 the surname is shown as PREDDY, Jane was living with her son William & family, daughter Esther & son, and in 1851 with daughter Esther (MORSE) & family.
Jane died 5 December 1859 age 78 at L.M.
